This course is designed to provide delegates with the skills necessary to recognise and mitigate risks in hostile environments.

It focusses on how to effectively avoid dangerous situations and how to manage the team and personal security aspects of working in hostile areas.

It also covers how to deal with medical emergencies and deliver appropriate casualty care.

Realistic and challenging scenarios

The course uses realistic and challenging scenarios to allow participants to gain exposure to the type of situations they may encounter in hostile environments. It is taught by instructors with genuine hostile environment experience and who are drawn from the police, military and security services.

All medical aspects of this course are taught by either EMT’s, Paramedics or Doctor’s, who instruct based on their own extensive experience and exposure to dealing with trauma situations.
