Advanced 1st Aid for Remote Environments
The purpose of this course is to provide the skills and knowledge necessary for longer term pre-hospital medical care to those who have become ill or injured in remote regions.
It is scenario based and designed by doctors with extensive wilderness expertise, in order to provide participants with effective and realistic training.
Course Content Includes:
Realistic and challenging scenarios
The course is one of continual assessment and uses realistic and challenging scenarios to allow participants to gain exposure to the type of situations they may encounter in a remote setting.
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a certificate which is valid for a period of 3 years. This course meets the requirements of National Governing Bodies for first aid training, including MLTUK, RYA and BCU.
